Yesterday I ran into a neighbor who has a preview copy of Down from the Mountain: the story of Bandit and the Wolf. She rubbed the head of our Pippi and said, this is Falen from the book. She had no idea that Aussies are so smart...and now she wants one. This is a story about courage and devotion. I haven't been as moved since "Old Yeller." When you read this story you feel like you could reach down and scratch the head of Bandit, this wonderful animal. Please!
